Gray Heron

This magnificent gray heron is found in Berlin Mitte almost every day. He has basically lost his shyness of people and his escape distance is now only about ten meters. I photographed this beautiful bird in 2018 with the Pentax K3 II and the Sigma 105mm.

City of Rats

I photographed this rate in the middle of downtown Berlin. It is said that more rats than people live in Berlin. We rarely see rats in Berlin. Or maybe just because we don’t want to see them.

Garden Tulip

Tulips bloom only briefly a year. These tulips and their cheering spring colors were photographed in a garden with the Pentax K1 II and the Pentax DFA 24-70mm F2.8 and the Sigma 180mm F3.5 Macro.  

Little Egret in China

I was able to photograph this beautiful little egret in Hangzhou (PR China, Zhejiang province) with the Pentax 150-450mm zoom lens. The heron prefers to stand in the shallow water in the green idyll and catches fish, frogs and snakes there.
